Minecraft PE 1.11.0.1

Minecraft Bedrock 1.11.0.1 APK is the first beta for the Village & Pillage update, released in late February 2019. This is a huge content drop that adds the entire raid system, including pillager patrols, illager captains, and the Bad Omen effect. There's also a complete overhaul of the villager trading system with new economic mechanics that make trading feel more dynamic and realistic.

Raids and Pillager Patrols

The raid system is the big headline feature here. Pillager patrols now spawn in the world as groups of 2-5 illagers, with one of them being an illager captain who wears a banner on their head. If you kill an illager captain, you get the Bad Omen status effect. When you enter a village while you have Bad Omen, it triggers a raid – basically a full-scale attack on the village where waves of pillagers try to kill all the villagers.

Raids work in waves, and the number of enemies plus the length of each wave increases based on your Bad Omen level. There's a raid boss bar that shows how many enemies are left, and you'll hear a battle horn sound before each wave starts. It's intense and adds a real tower defense element to the game.

Illager Captains and Banners

Illager captains are special versions of pillagers, vindicators, or evokers that spawn in patrols, raids, and around pillager outposts. They're recognizable by the illager banner they wear on their heads. When you kill them, they drop these unique banners and give you the Bad Omen effect. The banners themselves are a new type of banner you can't craft normally.

Villager Trading Overhaul

The villager economy got completely rebuilt with a supply and demand system. Here's how it works now:

• Villagers can only restore their trade supply when they work at their job site block
• When trades get restored, the number of trades you made converts into a price increase called "demand"
• Demand goes up when you trade a lot, and goes down when you don't use certain trades
• Villagers gain experience from trading and level up, which unlocks new trades
• New trades stay locked until the villager reaches the appropriate level

This makes trading feel way more like an actual economy instead of just an infinite resource generator. If you spam the same trade over and over, prices go up. If you ignore certain trades, they get cheaper.

Updated Trading UI

The villager trading interface got redesigned for pocket and classic UI profiles. It's cleaner and easier to navigate, especially on mobile devices where screen space is limited. You can see your available trades more clearly and the leveling system is better integrated into the UI.

New Sounds

There are new sound effects for bells, campfires, grindstones, lanterns, raids, ravagers, and sweet berry bushes. The raid sounds are particularly noticeable – that battle horn before each wave really sets the mood. The ravager sounds are appropriately menacing too.
