Minecraft PE 1.12.0.3

Minecraft Bedrock 1.12.0.3 APK is the second beta for version 1.12.0, released in early May 2019. This build adds new splash texts, removes references to Notch from the title screen, and makes several technical improvements for add-on creators. There's also a minor texture adjustment for bamboo.

Splash Text Changes

The title screen got a batch of new random splash messages, including "feedback.minecraft.net," "It came from space," "Rainbow turtle?," "Don't worry, be happy!," "Plant a tree!," and "Look mum, I'm in a splash!" among others. At the same time, splash texts referencing Notch were removed – specifically "Made by Notch!," "The Work of Notch!," and "110813!" This reflects Mojang's move away from associating the game with its original creator.

Bamboo Texture Update

Bamboo texture brightness got a slight adjustment to match Java Edition. It's a subtle parity change that makes bamboo look more consistent across versions.

Marketplace Rename

The "Store" button on the main menu has been renamed to "Marketplace," which better reflects what the feature actually is and aligns with how it's referred to in marketing and documentation.

Add-on Template Improvements

For add-on creators, the behavior pack template now includes the 'spawn_rules' folder again, which was missing in previous builds. Recipe and item JSON files have also been added to the behavior pack template, making it easier to start creating custom content without needing to manually create these files from scratch.
