Minecraft PE 1.13.0.18

Minecraft Bedrock 1.13.0.18 APK is the final beta for version 1.13.0, released in early October 2019. This build fixes a ton of bugs that were affecting the character creator, item behavior, visual rendering, and UI functionality. It's the polish pass before 1.13.0 goes stable.

Crash Fixes

Several crash scenarios got resolved. Android devices would crash when accepting storage permissions, which is fixed. The character creator on Android was causing crashes that are sorted out. Scrolling through languages in settings could crash the game, which is addressed. There were also various crashes during normal gameplay that have been fixed.

Item and Equipment Fixes

Multiple item issues got corrected. Crossbows were firing immediately after loading instead of waiting for the player to release, which is fixed. Frost Walker boots work again and actually freeze water. Compasses and clocks animate properly on the hotbar now instead of staying static. Carpets show up in the llama inventory screen again. Armor can be equipped directly from creative inventory on touch screens, and it respects extra skin layers properly. You can discard damaged tools from creative inventory again.

Visual and Animation Fixes

A bunch of rendering issues got addressed. The breaking animation appears on chests again. Player heads look correct when sneaking instead of being positioned wrong. Player arms animate while swimming now. Mob heads fit properly on players instead of being oversized or misaligned. Destroyed blocks no longer leave shadows. Some skins that were showing white capes are fixed. Missing and broken inventory textures are corrected. The crafting table icon displays its grid properly at all GUI scales.

Mob and Gameplay Fixes

Zombies spawn in caves again after being broken in previous builds. Players no longer fall from the sky after riding entities in creative mode. Spawn locations are correct when moving world saves between Xbox One consoles. The "Beam Me Up" achievement can be unlocked again.

UI and Menu Improvements

Character creator interface got various fixes and loading time improvements. External servers display on the Servers screen again. Inventory screens for blocks like hoppers and dispensers appear on the first attempt instead of needing multiple tries. The Profile screen works in split-screen mode now. The "Read More" button shows up next to packs on the Global Resource menu.
